An exhibition of paintings and illustrations by Peter Janske opening at the Pat Augustine Cultural Centre Art Gallery from 11am, Sunday 17th July, Heusman St Mt Perry.

School Exhibition opens at Mt Perry Gallery

"The Outback in our Backyards"

The exhibition was curated by Madeline Zoe King, an artist who completed her teaching internship at the Mt Perry State School. Madeline used subjects from school curriculum to inspire the children to create artworks. These included acrylics on canvas, drawings on paper, and an installation of small 10cm x 10cm canvasses to create a 5m long snake along one wall.

The event was opened by the Mayor, Joy Jensen, and was a huge hit with parents and kids enjoying the afternoon.
