Treasure Trove 2024

For its second year running, the Xmas Treasure Trove sale launched in Mount Perry on November 23rd, 2024, running into the new year. 2025. There were stacks of great items of all sorts were put in for sale by our local residents at the gallery, making for close, convenient and interesting Christmas shopping choices for locals and travellers alike.

If you were in Mount Perry in October/November 2024 you might have taken in this fabulous exhibition by three internationally recognised artists, all of whom hale from rural local roots here in Qld. 

These three lovely & talented ladies also generously agreed to be the judges in our "Capturing Moments in Time Exhibition, which was a great success...

 

Here are just a few highlights of the works by artists Colleen Helmore (watercolours), Suzanne Mahy Robinson (pastels) and Maree Jarden (mixed media) and the opening night at the gallery.

CAPTURING MOMENTS IN TIME - A Competition and exhibition held on October 11th to 13th, 2024.

The Mount Perry Arts Group Inc. had about 70 entries in this fabulous competition, with many worthy works submitted. The Show was held to coincide with a big weekend of events in Mount Perry, with the Car & Bike Club's annual show on in town AND the Axemen and Sawyers "Pub Chop" wood chop event, featuring champion axemen in the region.
