2013 Annual Art Exhibition Winners Announced


120 guests enjoyed the official proceedings of the 19th Annual Art Exhibition at Mt Perry Emotions. Mayor Don Waugh officially opened the show, congratulating the Mt Perry Fine Arts Group on the massive effort that went into putting the exhibition together.  Judges David Probyn, Gina Davies & Scott Allison said the quality of works on display was of a exceptional standard. With 232 entries, our biggest exhibition ever, including works for Sarina and NSW, the hall was full of great art works.

Mt Perry Fine Arts Group hold an exhibition in the Pat Augsustine Cultural Artr Gallery entitled
"Creative Collection" will be on show from th 26th February to the 7th April

This exhibition is a collection of artworks showcasing the diverse
talents and adventurous spirits of the Mt Perry Fines Art Group
members and volunteers. For a small town, we have a big
commitment with nearly 30 members and volunteers.
The group works in all mediums and styles of art and craft, and
our supportive approach encourages all members to jump into
the unknown and try new art practices.
After almost 20 years the Mt Perry Fine Arts Group continues as
a vibrant part of the community, holding at least 4 art workshops
throughout the year, hosting the regionally recognised Annual Art
Exhibition each September, and managing the operation of the Mt Perry Fine Arts Gallery
 with over 100 exhibitions to date.

Councillor John Bowman presents the Mt Perry Fine Arts with a cheque for $ 1500 from the North Burnett Regional Council to assists with the running costs of the Pat Augustine Cultural Centre Art Gallery
