“Who’s Nocturnal” exhibition by Sue Daw runs from 26^th May until 4^th July 2015 at the Mt Perry Art Gallery, Pat Augustine Cultural Centre, Heusmann Street, Mt Perry.  Opening times are Tuesday and Friday 9am to 12noon, Wednesday and Thursday 1pm to 4pm.  Other times by appointment – please phone 0407 699 894.

Mt Perry Arts Group Inc proudly presents “Who’s Nocturnal”, a torn paper painting (collage) and paper mache sculpture exhibition of Nocturnal Creatures featuring the work of Australian artist Sue Daw.

 Sue’s first exhibition was at the age of 14, at which paintings were selected for an international exhibition. Over the years Sue has held many group and solo exhibitions throughout the Northern Territory and Queensland. Today, Sue’s artwork sells all over the world.

 

Paper Painting Collage Workshop

Paper Painting works in collage workshop held on Sunday 31st May 2015 with Tutor Sue Daw. Funded by RADF this workshop was very interesting, with the art works being created using hand painted papers. Students were taught a unique figurative college style, exploring hand painting their own papers with a variety of techniques and colours, then using them to create

Paper Collage workshop with tutor Sue Daw held on Monday 1st June for the 5 and 6 students at the Mt Perry State School. this workshop was funded by RADF, the children's art works will become part of their annual exhibition in the Pat Augustine Cultural Centre Art Gallery in September.
